Science Club kids learn about astronomy from HSC staff person.

HSC will again be offering Afterschool Science Club from 3:30-5:00 pm each Monday, starting September 22nd.

This program is geared toward children ages 7-13. Adults need not accompany children. Topics will cover a wide range of physical and natural science and will include rockets, cake chemistry, reverse engineering (take apart), and star lab. 

The Science Center and the 4-H club have teamed up to bring you Minnesota’s FIRST LEGO League robotics challenge. Each team will build and program an autonomous robot to solve problems or perform complex missions. Division 1 is for 4th–6th graders and Division 2 is for 7th–9th graders. Teams can compete in regional, state, and even national events. Teams are forming now, so call or stop by HSC Mondays at 3:30 and see what the latest in programmable robotics is about.
